Kỹ thuật phân tích từ khóa trong IELTS - Reading

Từ khóa trong câu hỏi có 2 dạng :

Loại 1: Từ khóa không biến đổi được, nó giống hệt như trong passage bao gồm: tên riêng, các con số, ngày tháng năm diễn ra sự kiện, các thuật ngữ khoa học v…v

Loại 2: Từ khóa biến đổi. Tức là trong passage từ khóa sẽ có biến đổi về dạng ( word form ) hoặc nó được thay thế bằng từ đồng nghĩa ( synoym )

Ví dụ1: The Navajo language will die out because it currently has too few speakers

Từ khóa loại 1: Navajo

Từ khóa loại 2: die out, too few speakers

Mình có thể dựa vào từ khóa loại 2 để đưa ra phỏng đoán về cách biến đổi của từ khóa trong passage: die out = disappear = become extinct  và  too few speakers= almost nobody speaks this language.

Ví dụ 2: In 1942 the US anthropology student concluded that the Siriono …..

Từ khóa loại 1: 1942, the Siriono, anthropology

Từ khóa loại 2: the US = America ; concluded = drew a conclusion

Ví dụ 3: There is no limit to the photosynthetic rate in plants such as …………

Từ khóa loại 1: photosynthetic rate

Từ khóa loại 2: There is no limit = there is no maximum = do not have a maximum

Ví dụ 4: Geniuses often pay a high price to achieve greatness.

Từ khóa loại 2: Geniuses = gifted people = talented people= high price= high cost

Achieve greatness= great achievements= great success
